Kano State Censorship Board Suspends Kannywood Actress Samha M. Inuwa for One Year
The Kano State Censorship Board has suspended popular Kannywood actress Samha M. Inuwa from appearing in films for a year, following public complaints about her revealing attire and provocative videos.
According to a statement by the Board’s Information Officer, Abdullahi Sani Sulaiman, Samha had received multiple warnings regarding her inappropriate dressing and the use of vulgar language in some of her content.
“The board has revoked her liaison and will no longer censor any films featuring her. The Kano State Censorship Board is legally tasked with ensuring that all media content aligns with the state’s religious and cultural values,” the statement read.
The suspension is part of the board’s efforts to uphold moral standards in the Kannywood film industry and enforce compliance with its regulations.
