Super Eagles and Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has reportedly attracted interest from Italian giants Juventus, following the Foxes’ relegation from the Premier League at the end of the 2024/25 season.
The Nigerian international, who joined Leicester in 2017 from Belgian side Genk for €17 million, is believed to be exploring opportunities away from the King Power Stadium. With a €9 million release clause now active due to the club’s relegation, Juventus are reportedly prepared to trigger the clause in a bid to bring the 28-year-old to Turin.
Ndidi, whose current contract with Leicester runs until 2027, has been a key figure in the club’s midfield for nearly a decade and is now being linked with a move to the Serie A as part of Juventus’ ongoing squad reshuffle.
In addition to Ndidi, Juventus are reportedly in talks with the representatives of Jadon Sancho, who is seeking a move away from Manchester United this summer. The club has already confirmed its first signing of the window—Jonathan David—who joined on a free transfer and signed a five-year deal.
Ndidi, who will turn 29 in December, made over 240 appearances for Leicester and was part of the squad that won the FA Cup in 2021.
