Meet 15 candidates vying for Osun governorship seat

With Osun State governorship election just days away, the Independent National Electoral Commission says 2,339,233 residents are registered to vote and the race features 15 political parties, though only a handful of candidates have taken their campaigns seriously by unveiling manifestoes and touring the state’s local government areas.

Leading the pack is incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke, running under the Accord Party banner.

His chief rival is Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress, while Najeem Salaam represents the African Democratic Congress.\
