After 12 years with TVC, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, the managing director of TVC Entertainment and host of the talk show Your View, has announced her resignation. She will step down from both roles on August 29 to pursue new passions and bigger dreams.
In a video posted to her Instagram, Afolabi-Brown addressed the questions she's received about her departure. "Nothing happened," she explained, calling the move a new phase in her life. She said she’s ready to pursue "bigger dreams, bigger ideals, and things I always had passion for."
Afolabi-Brown expressed her gratitude to TVC Communications, her colleagues, and her audience. She said she’s grateful for the support from management, who are "cheering her on" as she enters this new, "scary but exciting" phase.
She also thanked her fans for helping her build her brand over the years and encouraged them to continue supporting the show.
She plans to hand over her duties to the show's other anchors and producers, saying she hopes to see Your View become "better and bigger every single time" after she leaves.
