BUILDING COLLAPSE TRAPS MULTIPLE PEOPLE IN ABUJA

A two-story building in the Kubwa area of Abuja, Nigeria, collapsed early in the morning, trapping several people under the debris. The structure, which had previously served as a hotel and hospital before being converted into residential apartments, crumbled at around 7 am local time.

Emergency responders and security personnel are currently at the scene, working to rescue those trapped under the rubble. So far, two individuals have been extracted, and rescuers are attempting to free a third person trapped in a flat. The rescue efforts are ongoing, with the hope of saving more lives.
