American R&B singer Summer Walker has expressed a strong desire to relocate to Nigeria with her three children, even considering becoming the third wife of an African king.
The 29-year-old artist shared her growing affection for Nigerian culture during a recent interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra.
Walker admitted she's hesitant to visit Nigeria because she believes she might not want to return to the United States once she experiences the country. "I want to go to Nigeria so bad. But I'm scared because I know I won't come back. I just want to take my kids and just like, we gone!" she stated.
Her enthusiasm for Nigeria intensified after she recently tried her first African meal, which she found to be "good as heck." She envisions a life immersed in Nigerian culture, humorously adding, "I would be somebody’s third wife. Me and my kids would be put up in some African king’s house. I know it."
The mother of three affirmed her readiness for such a significant move, quipping, "My nyash is good. I’m prepared. I’m ready. I’ve been waiting for this."
Walker revealed she had initially planned a trip to Nigeria in April for her 29th birthday but had to cancel due to her children falling ill. Despite the setback, she assured fans that she still hopes to visit the country soon.
