Manchester United’s Tyrell Malacia Joins PSV Eindhoven on Loan
Manchester United defender Tyrell Malacia has joined PSV Eindhoven on loan for the remainder of the 2024/25 season, the Premier League club confirmed.
The 25-year-old Netherlands international has been working on his fitness after returning to action in November, following a 17-month injury layoff.
Malacia, a left-back, initially signed for United from Feyenoord in 2022 for £13 million ($16 million) and remains under contract at Old Trafford until 2026.
“Tyrell Malacia will spend the rest of the season on loan with Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven,” Manchester United said in a statement. “After rebuilding his fitness, the Netherlands international has made eight appearances under Rúben Amorim. It has been agreed that he will now join Peter Bosz’s squad for the rest of the season.”
The move was finalized before the Dutch transfer window closed on Tuesday.
Malacia’s departure follows Manchester United’s signing of Denmark wing-back Patrick Dorgu from Lecce on Sunday, as the club continues to adjust its squad.
