Big Brother Naija Season 10: Early Days in the House
The 10th season of Big Brother Naija kicked off on July 26 and 27, introducing 29 diverse housemates from various professional backgrounds, including law, medicine, entertainment, and culinary arts. The house comprises 15 female and 14 male contestants.
This season features some exciting format changes, including a Sunday Head of House (HOH) challenge and a new "Influential Player of the Week" designation.
House Dynamics and Early Tensions
Even in these early days, house dynamics are already taking shape with alliances forming and disagreements surfacing. Jason Jae, a creative director from Ondo State, became the first Head of House. His tenure began with a dispute over kitchen control involving fellow housemate Imisi.
Other notable tensions include an argument over food between Isabella and Thelma, and observed friction between Rooboy and Kuture, as well as Sultana and Ivatar.
Housemates Define Their Roles
Contestants have been quick to establish their personalities and intentions within the group. Koyin, a 21-year-old model, has openly stated his intention to stir relationship drama. Faith, a 25-year-old medical doctor, has garnered early viewer attention by describing himself as "polyamorous." Other visible participants in group interactions include Big Soso, Doris, Dede, and DJ Gigi Jasmine.
How to Watch
The show's format continues to rely on continuous surveillance and public voting to determine progress and eventual eliminations. BBNaija Season 10 is available on DStv Channel 198, GOtv Channel 49, and online via Showmax. Eviction shows take place on Sundays across Africa Magic channels.
