Six students lost their lives in a tragic drowning incident in Kaduna River, Kaduna State, after celebrating their WAEC exam. The students, who were reportedly celebrating their completion of the exam, were said to have gone to the river to relax when the incident occurred.

The tragic event has sent shockwaves through the community, with many calling for measures to prevent such incidents in the future. The identities of the victims have not been released, but condolences have been pouring in for their families and loved ones. The names of the victims are Manasseh Monday (16), Musa John (16), Pius David (15), Monday Ayuba (16), David Danlami (19), and Yahuza Audu (16). Three bodies have been recovered, and three are still missing.

The incident serves as a sobering reminder of the importance of safety and responsible celebration.
