Pastor Nathaniel Bassey was born on August 27, 1981, in Lagos, Nigeria. 

He is a gospel musician, songwriter, and a pastor at The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), where he leads The Oasis Lagos, the youth church of the RCCG Kings Court.

 He is known for his songs like "Imela," "Onise Iyanu," and "Olowogbogboro," as well as for hosting the online "Hallelujah Challenge."

His sounds resonates round the globe as well as the circular space positioning him as one of the icons of Gospel music in Nigeria.

He was one of the few artists selected to lead the worship at President Trump's inaugural ceremony.
He began performing in the early 2000s as a jazz trumpeter before switching to the gospel circle.
