Lawyers to Rosemond Akua Adobea, also known as Nana Addo, have said the domestic dispute involving her and her children, which has gone viral on social media, is now before the appropriate authorities.

In a notice dated October 6, 2026, and shared on her Instagram page on Tuesday, the firm, Nkrabeah & Associates, said the matter was “currently sub judice and in the hands of the appropriate authorities.”

The lawyers commended the police for their response.

“We are grateful for the timely intervention and responsiveness of Ghana Police and are confident in the competence of our court systems to stand up against domestic violence in our society,” the statement read.

The statement, addressed to media houses, said their attention had been drawn to several harrowing videos circulating on social media, showing our client and her children embroiled in a domestic dispute.

According to the lawyers, the videos were leaked without their client’s knowledge and consent.

They asked the media to refrain from publishing the clips, especially those showing the abuse of a minor.

“We humbly request that all media houses refrain from publishing and sharing the videos especially the ones showing the abuse of a minor,” the statement said.

They added, “This is a delicate matter involving young children and as such we are counting on your responsible journalism to safeguard the mental wellbeing of the victims of this unfortunate turn of events who are already dealing with enough trauma.”

The lawyers said their client would break her silence at a later date.

“At the appropriate time our client will address all pertinent issues, in the meantime we ask that the media and the general public respect the privacy of the family as they deal with this difficult situation,” the statement said.
