Kristin Cabot, the chief people officer of US tech company Astronomer, has resigned. Her departure follows that of CEO Andy Byron, who also resigned last week.
The resignations come after a video went viral showing a man and a woman, identified by US media as Cabot and Byron, embracing on a jumbo screen at a Coldplay concert.
The clip, which showed the pair attempting to hide from the camera after being shown on the screen, gained millions of views and widespread media attention.
Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin commented on the incident during the concert, speculating whether the pair were "having an affair, or they're just very shy."
Following the viral video, Astronomer announced an investigation into the matter and placed its CEO, Andy Byron, on leave.
The company subsequently announced Byron's resignation. Kristin Cabot's resignation as chief people officer has now been confirmed.
Pete DeJoy, co-founder and chief product officer, has been appointed interim CEO. He acknowledged the unexpected media attention the company received, stating that Astronomer had become a "household" name almost overnight.
