20 Medical Students Kidnapped by Bandits in Benue State

Bandits have kidnapped 20 medical students in Benue State, Nigeria. The students, who are from the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) and the University of Jos (UNIJOS), were abducted on Thursday evening while traveling to Enugu State for a convention.

The students were in a convoy of two buses when they were ambushed by the gunmen in the Otukpo Local Government area of Benue State. The incident has been confirmed by the Benue State Police Command, which has launched an investigation into the matter.

The kidnapping of the medical students has raised concerns about the safety of students and travelers in Nigeria.
