The stock exchange has been made aware of the listing of United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) Rights Issue of 6,839,884,274 Ordinary Shares of on the Daily Official List of Nigerian Exchange (NGX).
The Rights Issue was listed on Friday, 23rd of May 2025 at rate of N35.00 per share on the basis of One (1) New Ordinary Share for Every Five (5) Ordinary Shares held as at Close of Business on Tuesday, 5 November 2024.
UBA's right issues results to the additional shares listed on NGX, Rights Issue of 34,199,421,368 ordinary shares of 50 Kobo each at N35.00 per share.
With this listing of the additional 6,839,884,274 ordinary shares, the total issued and fully paid-up shares of United Bank for Africa Plc has now increased to 41,039,305,642 from 34,199,421,368 ordinary shares of 50 Kobo each.
