Lamine Yamal, a 16-year-old player, has made history by becoming the youngest goalscorer in the European Championship. He achieved this feat at 16 years and 362 days old, breaking the previous record held by Swiss player Johan Vonlanthen at 18 years and 141 days.

Yamal's impressive performance includes scoring a stunning goal in the 21st minute against France in the semifinal match. He also became the youngest-ever player to score in a major tournament, surpassing Pelé's record at 17 years and 239 days old in 1958. Additionally, Yamal holds the record for the most assists by a teenager in the tournament's history, making him a standout player in the competition.
