Argentine winger, Alejandro Garnacho, has opened up on why he chose to join the Premier League club, highlighting the team’s style of play and the opportunity for personal development.
According to a post by Fabrizio Romano on Tuesday, Garnacho was quoted as saying, “When I spoke with the club and Maresca, it’s important also the style of play we have. He explained a lot to me in a video call with him.
“It’s a big chance to improve as a player in a team like Chelsea.”Garnacho’s move comes as Chelsea continue to strengthen their squad for a competitive campaign both domestically and in Europe.
Encmediaone had reported that Chelsea signed Garnacho for a reported £40 million fee ($54 million) on a seven-year deal with the world champions.
The 21-year-old scored his first goal for the club in Chelsea’s 2-1 defeat to newly promoted Sunderland on Saturday.
