Binance Wallet Offers Zero-Fee Swaps—With a Catch
Binance is rolling out a six-month zero-fee swap promotion for users of its Binance Wallet, but only for those with backed-up keyless addresses.
The offer applies to swaps made through Binance Wallet’s integrated swap, bridge features, and Binance Alpha, a platform showcasing tokens that could be listed on Binance in the future. However, transactions via third-party dApps are not eligible, and users will still need to cover network gas fees.
To qualify, traders must use a backed-up keyless address, meaning manually entered private keys or imported wallets won’t work.
Binance first introduced its keyless wallet in November 2023, promoting it as a more secure and user-friendly alternative to traditional self-custodial wallets. However, Russian users faced access issues due to regulatory restrictions following Binance’s exit from Russia in September 2023.
With this zero-fee swap incentive, Binance aims to attract more retail traders while pushing adoption of its keyless wallet technology.
