Governor Adeleke Unveils Bold N159bn Infrastructure Plan for Osun
Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has announced an ambitious N159 billion infrastructure plan for the 2025 fiscal year. Speaking at the EXCO Lounge on Tuesday, he outlined projects covering roads, education, and healthcare across the state.
He assured residents that his administration would complete both inherited and newly initiated projects without borrowing. Major road projects under this plan include:
• Osogbo – Iwo – Oyo State Boundary Road – N5.94 billion
• Osogbo – Ikirun – Insha – Kwara State Boundary Road – N13.7 billion
• Ejigbo – Isoko – Aye-Oguro Road (5.1 km) – N3.02 billion
• Odo Ori Junction – Post Office Junction – Adeeke Junction Dualization (6.65 km) – N10.42 billion
Adeleke highlighted completed projects, including 150 km of roads, 200 Primary Health Centres, and 99 schools, while major flyovers and dualization projects are at various stages of completion.
“We are committed to finishing all projects within this fiscal year,” he assured.
