Bitget Empowers Nigerian Youth Through Blockchain4Youth Education Day in Lagos

Crypto exchange and Web3 firm Bitget has successfully wrapped up its Nigeria Community Education Day in Lagos, held under its Blockchain4Youth initiative. The event, which took place at Cafe One in Ikate, brought together over 80 young Nigerians eager to learn about blockchain technology and cryptocurrency trading.

The educational event focused on equipping participants with practical knowledge of crypto trading tools and blockchain applications. It began with a keynote address discussing the state of crypto adoption in Nigeria and the crucial role of youth in driving future innovation.

Attendees received hands-on demonstrations of Bitget’s key features, including spot and futures trading, copy trading, and crypto conversion tools. The program also covered various deposit and withdrawal methods, such as card payments and peer-to-peer (P2P) transfers. Bitget further introduced its merchant programme, aimed at helping users integrate crypto into everyday business transactions.

Interactive Q&A sessions and giveaways kept the audience engaged, while local users shared personal stories about how Bitget has supported their journey in the digital asset space. The day concluded with informal networking, allowing attendees to connect and discuss opportunities in the Web3 world.

Bitget described the initiative as part of its mission to increase crypto adoption in underserved regions and provide technical education that opens up wealth-building avenues for young people and under-represented communities.

Founded in 2018, Bitget is now one of the world’s leading crypto trading platforms, serving over 100 million users in more than 200 countries and regions, and is especially noted for its high-liquidity derivatives markets and innovative trading tools.
