Chioma Adeleke, wife of Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has returned to Instagram with a touching message in memory of her late son, Ifeanyi.
The chef and mother of twins made the emotional post on Thursday, August 21, 2025, sharing photos of her wedding bouquet with a picture of Ifeanyi pinned to it.
“My best friend walked me into forever…. Ify, you’re on my mind every day, and you live in my heart. Always and forever. Love, mummy,” she said.Davido, who also honoured their son at the wedding by wearing cufflinks engraved with his image, replied to her post with the words, “Till Infinity.”
Ifeanyi, the couple’s first child together, died in October 2022 after drowning in a swimming pool at the family’s Banana Island residence in Lagos.
He was three years old at the time. The tragedy drew wide sympathy from fans, colleagues, and global followers of the singer.
Chioma’s return to Instagram started on July 6, 2025, as she began preparing for her white wedding with Davido in Miami, which was later held on Sunday, August 10.
