The NNPC Ltd has announced its plans to sell petrol to consumers at a marked-up price. The petrol, which was purchased from Dangote Refinery at N898 per litre, will be sold at a higher rate to consumers.

In Lagos, the petrol will be sold at N950 per litre, a significant increase from the original purchase price. This price hike may have a substantial impact on consumers in the region, who will now have to pay more for fuel.

Furthermore, the price disparity becomes even more pronounced in Borno, where the petrol will be sold at an even higher rate of N1,019 per litre. The reasons behind this price difference between Lagos and Borno are unclear, but it may be attributed to various factors such as transportation costs, taxes, or other regional considerations.
