Chidimma Adetshina, representing Taraba State, has emerged as the winner of Miss Universe Nigeria 2024. She defeated 25 other contestants to clinch the coveted crown at the grand finale held at Eko Hotel and Suites on Saturday night.

The 25-year-old beauty queen was a fan favorite throughout the competition, accruing the highest number of votes. Her victory comes after a controversy surrounding her participation in the Miss South Africa pageant, where she was forced to withdraw due to her Nigerian heritage.

As the newly crowned Miss Universe Nigeria, Chidimma will represent the country at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant, scheduled to take place later this year in Mexico. She succeeds last year's winner, Hannah Iribhogbe, and will carry on the legacy of Nigerian beauty and excellence on the global stage.

The night also saw other winners, with Miss Anambra emerging as the first runner-up, also known as Miss Supranational, and Miss Ondo as the second runner-up, known as Miss Lush. Chidimma's win is a significant milestone, and her participation in the Miss Universe 2024 pageant is highly anticipated.
